Vanessa NG
Practice Director, Senior Podiatrist

Vanessa graduated as a Registered Nurse in 1996 and in 1999 decided to further her studies to become a qualified Podiatrist. She has worked in the high risk Queensland Diabetes clinics and completed her masters in Podiatry in 2010. Vanessa has a high interest in sports injuries and the high risk foot and in her spare time is found training with her triathlon multisport clubs and relaxing with her young family.

Melissa Ward
Practice Manager, Medical

Melissa has been with Innovation Podiatry since 2014. She successfully completed her Certificate III in Business Administration and when you don’t see her big beaming smile around the office, she will be outside enjoying the sunshine, having fun at the beach with her beautiful family.

Vicki Taylor
Receptionist

Vicki joined the Innovation Podiatry team in March 2024 after rolling off a cruise which she is very fond of doing!

Born & raised in NZ, Vicki has had diverse careers in Nursing & Investment Banking that has taken her all around the world. She has owned her own business and is now semi-retired enjoying life with her husband and two black cats on the Sunshine Coast.

Nisha Charles
Podiatrist

Nisha graduated from Southern Cross University in 2023 and is currently working full-time as a podiatrist. She enjoys treating a diverse range of patients and has a special interest in paediatric care, biomechanical foot conditions, and managing ingrown toenails (IGTN) – a treatment she’s become particularly confident in.

Nisha is also trained in dry needling and offers this as part of her holistic approach to managing musculoskeletal and biomechanical concerns. She is passionate about providing personalised, compassionate care to help her patients move and feel their best.

Outside of the clinic, Nisha enjoys catching up with her friends and family, exploring new cafes (especially those with a good matcha), and keeping active through Pilates and gym sessions.
